I agree. It seems like the FS by there own control encourages abuse from within. Yet they themselves take away our own human rights. The right to think and act independently.

by life is to short insorry i hit some button that i did not mean to and it posted before i could write it.
but i was thinking of how the gb really are like true abusers.
elizabeth smart was on dateline friday night and her abuser basically wanted her life, to take her life away by enslaving her.

anyway i guess because i da myself he now has to look the other way when i say hi to him?

must say i was dissapointed! He was even on my facebook. I just deleted him and put a message that his Mom will read, saying I deleted anyone that would be embarrassed to say hi to me in public. Not that is matters what I say. I would love to help them but i know they are the ones that need to want to be helped

by Cold Steel init seems that many people on this board get a certain amount of glee calling the jehovah's witness faith a "cult.
" especially former jehovah's witnesses.
and though it's true in a number of senses, we must be conscious of the fact that the early christians were considered by nearly everyone in roman and jewish society as a cult.

do you miss anything from when you were a jw?
by Newborn ina few of my friends who also used to be jw's, say they miss certain things abt it...i can honestly say that i don't miss a single thing (my sister obviously who's still in but nothing else).. before i could sometimes miss having such a strong belief but that's also gone.
i guess i've moved on big time.

when is it too late to learn the truth about the troof
by diamondiiz inwts suckers in many young people who are still naive and trusting and they also sucker in people who are going through some sort of a crisis in their lives.
but they also prey on old people.
those who preach no doubt are sincere and believe what they're doing is life saving and all that... but to turn things around, how many here would tell an elderly jw that their religion is a con?
